Binary opposition is a theory created by French athropoligist, Levi Strauss.
It basically revolves around the theory that we understand the world through opposites.
Examples of this would be:
Good Vs Bad
Hero Vs Villian
Male Vs Female
Rich Vs Poor.
Typically, examples of this can be found in alsorts of different types of media, depending on the narrative.
