Technical Code Analysis.

In this theatrical poster for the movie 'The Strangers', a woman can be seen crawling towards the audience. She is bloodied and appears to have been attacked. From this picture we know that there's violence in this film and that there is of course an element of fear from the woman's expression and her situation on this picture. Because of this, the audience can assume that the film is mostly to be park of the Thriller genre.

There also appears to be an effect on the picture itself, made to look like scratch marks of some kind. This adds to the feeling of violence and fear.
